Hello, Sorry for Writing in english, but my Cesky isnt very well, only for hostinec.

So, my name is Erik, im from Dresden (Germany). Im looking for a new Winter-sleepingbag which does not cost the whole world. and for the reason to the near to the czech border i take a look to the neighbors.

i still know cumulus and i owned a alaska 900.
i know roberts.pl and yeti pl
but what is with the others?
Does test anyone here the SJ Looping II 1200? is the temp-rating correkt? how is the Hood and some details?
the same questions for the Prima Glacier 1200?

Can anyone compare the sleeping bags with Cumulus?
Could Prima also use pertex quantum pro?
is the exel dry lite from Sir joseph realy waterresistant?

i hope you could answer some questions.

I recently asked Prima for some information on used materials.

Based on the answer, Quantum Pro is not available for Prima sleeping bags.They currently use Pertex Microlight 49g for the Polar bags and Pertex Quantum 35 g for Arctic and Glacier.

ok, for a winter/high mountain sleepingbag is quantum 35 g not the best material for me. it is a litle fragile an not waterresistant.
i will search again.

of corse, i know also alpkit, but i order a pipedream 600 last year for some summer tours, but, the quality is not very well like cumulus. in special the collar is shit and also the outer material. so i have to send them back.
i owned also a used rab expedition 1000. but this was too cold. i have sold them.

now im looking for a real god winter sleeping bag.
does anyone have god ideas for czech or polish manufactors for -20°C?

I don't have an experience with winter sleeping bags but people here like Cumulus and it'd be my first choice now. You can configure the bag there which is a big advantage. You can select hydrophobic down, add more down if you need and choose materials including waterproof one.

SJ bags temperature ratings is generally correct. Prima has incorrect rating (5 - 7 degrees more) for synthetic bags and there isn't too much experience with their down ones, yet, but ratings looks correct there. Otherwise they have a good quality and construction but their bags are a bit heavier. Warmpeace is choice for many people here because of good price/performance ratio but usually 3-seasons bags are used.

Hi, im just looking forward for sllepingbags and by searching i have found Arctic in Praha.
Do somebody have experience with bags from arctic? May be the Model "Tom". They looks a litle bit "easy" like in the 1980s.

unfortunaly Prima does not answer for my questions for modifikation.
SJ is too expensive.

so i guess it will be may be a polish aura iceberg or a Malachovsky guide Pro 1000. they will be on sale in summer 2018.
